New content

SED

SED (Synthetically Engineered Double) is a new class; it is a robot you have already got familiar with in the latest Special Operations. As for other classes, it is well-balanced and will not be stronger than them; however, it has unique features that will allow for a brand new gaming experience.

 
  • Unsurpassed armor. The SED class has a huge armor supply that ensures excellent protection from enemy bullets shot even from the most effective weapon models. This advantage is set off by few health that Medics will not be able to replenish. However, the Engineer class has been adjusted and now they can support SEDs restoring their armor and putting the android back into lines with a special tool — jumper.

  • Heavy weaponry. SED is armored with a heavy machine gun that does not require reloading. Its precision increases with every shot fired. However, there is a drawback to it - SED can shoot only from the hip and the gun tends to overheat so you will not be able to maintain your fire for a long time.

  • SED's secondary weapon is a grenade launcher with two charges: explosion deals damage and has a flashbang effect.

  • Unassisted climbing. Unlike other classes SED can climb high objects without teammates' help: it should only run to an obstacle and jump.

  • Increased stability. There is no way to knock SED off its feet.

  • Special equipment. SED stats are improved with the help of special modules, but it can't use the same equipment as other players. Improved modules are already available in the shop.

  • Low mobility. SED's impressive armor makes it quite heavy: thus, the android has low running and strafe speed as well as a shorter slide distance. Naturally, "human" soldiers are much quicker.

The introduction of the fifth class will have a significant impact on the roles of other classes. The Engineer will now become some kind of a Medic due to the fact that he will be able to put the android back in line. Teamwork will reach a new level when the new class will become the vanguard closely monitored by the Engineer healed by Medics in their turn.

SED is allowed in Ranked matches with all its weapons and equipment!

You can obtain a lot of new and reworked achievements playing as SED.

We are glad to present you a compact submachine gun that was developed by the Kalashnikov Group on the basis of a frame elaborated by the legendary gunmaker Evgueni Dragunov. In Warface the arm boasts excellent combat specs such as a high accuracy in the aiming mode, good range and hip accuracy. The gun’s mind-blowing damage will turn AM-17 into your rivals’ nightmare since even the most modern helmet will not save the enemy from sure death at close range!

The owners of the golden verison will be able to get a unique stripe for dealing 999 killing blows.

An upgraded Typhoon F12 version is yet another curious innovation. Typhoon F12 Custom offers all the advantages of the predecessor while featuring some improved specs such as a high capacity 15-round drum mag and a slightly increased precision in the aiming mode.

Content changes

WEAPON RARITY

The update has introduced the concept of "weapon rarity." Now every model has its own quality which depends on the uniqueness of the arm and is displayed in the player’s inventory in the item description and weapon icon colour grades. In addition, the localization of progression weapon categories has been updated.

Changes in Ranked Matches

The Ranked Matches matchmaking algorithms have been optimized. Now matchmaking even more carefully distributes allies and opponents based on their combat effectiveness in order to achieve maximum team balance.

Moreover, strating from the next ranked matches season, aim-assist is no longer available in the battle. Your destiny will only depend on you!

Revamped Safehouse

The Safe House, a place where players spend a lot of time improving their skill and trying new weapons, has been updated. The same as before, the safe house is divided into several zones each of them having its own destination. Now you can see a special coach, from who you can take a trainee fighter mission.

The update brings tweaks to the following weapon models: Hera Arms CQR, AS VAL, Tavor TS12 Custom, LWRC SMG-45 and CheyTac M200.

WEAPONS AND GEAR

  • The visuals of the grips-attachments have been reworked. The changes apply to their skinned versions as well.

OTHER

Reworked loading screen: the image has changed, the Blackwood Games logo has been added and the Crytek logo has been modified.

Weapons and gear

  • Now it is easier to get achievements for kills made with certain weapons:
  1. 10 000 -> 5000 (for regular weapon models);
  2. 25 000 -> 10 000 (for regular weapon models);
  3. 10 000 / 15 000 - > 2500 (for special series or themed weapons);
  4. 5000 -> 1000 (for Crown weapons).
  • Now it is possible to apply certain camos to some golden weapons.
  • The Rocket Launchers SA-16 and ZSD-11 used in PvE missions have been replaced by a more modern model RLGS.
  • АK Alpha, F90 MBR: the size of the weapon model in third person view is now more realistic.

PVP

  • The game pause is now activated at the end of the round and not at the beginning.
  • In the Ranked Matches it is now possible to activate special combat interface indicators that display which classes each team contains.
  • Farm and "Street Wars": the normal map versions have replaced the themed ones.

PVE

  • Melee weapons for artificial intelligence enemies have been reworked.

Other

  • Lower ranks (less than 25) can now use global chat less often than higher ranks to prevent spam
  • Now in first person view the visual effect of dust while sliding looks the same with all graphics settings.

Fixed bugs

Important

  • The round based logic of PvP modes has been modified. The round used to end immediately after the last kill. That's why there used to be "freezes" and the models of killed enemies could suddenly disappear if players changed classes. Now the problems described will no longer occur since the round will end in several seconds after the last kill.
  • Fixed the error due to which characters could fall through the floor on some maps.
  • HArms CQR "Great Gatsby": fixed the error due to which the weapons had a higher recoil than their regular peers.
  • Fixed and visually corrected the animation when a slide is abruptly interrupted by a jump.
  • Fixed the error due to which there were no special effects after a character revival.
  • Sometimes weapon management noises (reloading, shooting etc.) were not present.

Weapons and gear

  • H&K G36C, TEC-9: fixed the error due to which some scopes were incorrectly placed on weapons in third person view.
  • Uzkon UNG-12: fixed the error due to which the rear peep sight did not coincide with the front post sight when equipping the Basic Scope.
  • Fixed the error due to which the center of the reticle of a 2x pistol sight did not coincide with the actual point of impact.
  • АK-47 "Flor de Muerto": fixed the error due to which the Basic Scope did not coincide with the actual point of impact;
  • RPD Custom, XM8, M16 SPR Custom, Desert Eagle: fixed the error which caused incorrect attachment interface display in the weapon modification menu.
  • Fixed the error which caused incorrect attachment interface display in the modification menu of some Engineer weapons.
  • Mossberg 500 Custom, SR-2 Veresk, Golden DP-12, Saiga Bullpup: fixed the error which caused incorrect weapon display in the character’s right hand if a female skin was used.
  • Fabarm STF 12 Compact: fixed the error causing incorrect buttstock texture display in first-person view.
  • RPK: fixed the error which caused incorrect weapon display in the character’s left hand.
  • Tavor TAR-21: fixed the error which caused incorrect weapon display in the character’s left hand.
  • Classic Soviet Knife: fixed the error causing incorrect blade texture display in third-person view.
  • Arcus Scout: fixed the error causing visual artefacts in the scope if "Motion blur" was on.
  • Fixed the error due to which, the cartridge ejection animation after shooting some weapon types repeated when the character made a hit with a buttstock.
  • Marlin 1894 Custom, S&W M&P R8: fixed the error due to which the attachments of some weapon versions were of the wrong colour.
  • CZ Scorpion Evo3 A1 "Icebreaker": fixed the error which caused incorrect recicle colour with installed "Ultra-rare SMG Scope".
  • Marlin 1894 Custom "Great Gatsby": fixed the error due to which kills made with this model did not count for "Great Gatsby" achievements progress.
  • SV-98 "Morion": fixed the error due to which the "Fast Mid-Range Scope 5x" icon was not skinned in the attachment menu.
  • Maxim 9 "Onyx": fixed the visual error which caused incorrect camo display of the model upon uninstalling the "Trijicon RMR Adjustable LED".
  • Anakon, Arcus Tactics: fixed the visual error which caused incorrect display of the weapon model in the soldier's hands in the Inventory.
  • Dragunov SR: fixed a visual error which caused an incorrect weapon model display in third person view with a vest applied.
  • M40A5: fixed a visual error which caused an incorrect weapon model display in the character's hands in third person view when female skins were equipped.
  • Tavor TAR-12: fixed a visual error which caused an incorrect reload animation.
  • XM556 Microgun: fixed an error which made it possible to compare the specs of the primary weapon with those of the secondary CZ 805 G1 in the shop and Inventory.

  • Cold Peak (Act 1): fixed the error due to which after destruction of a tank it was displayed as an ally unit on the mini-map beyond the location boundaries.
  • Mars: fixed the error due to which in some cases the Heavy Droid has no vulnerable spots and could not be destroyed.
  • Cyber Horde: fixed the error which caused incorrect movement animation of "Destroyer".
  • Mars (Act 1): fixed the error due to which in some cases the health indicator of the Heavy Droid disappeared.
  • Mars (Act 4): fixed a visual error which caused incorrect display of certain elements of the "Terraformer-1" construction.
  • Anubis: fixed the error due to which the player could fall through the map textures in a certain point of the map.
  • The HQ: fixed a localization error due to which an incorrect SpecOp name was displayed on the screen upon receiving a box with a reward for mission completion.
  • Training: fixed the error due to which the player could walk through textures in a certain point of the map.

  • Fixed the error due to which after being invited to a clan, a player did not receive the corresponding notification in the notification box.
  • Fixed the error which in some cases caused incorrect animation of a player being helped to his feet after he was knocked down.
  • Fixed the error which caused incorrect character model display in first-person view if he switched to melee weapons and looked under his feet.
  • Fixed the error which caused incorrect character animation in third-person view if while reloading a weapon the player switched to another one.
  • Fixed the error which caused incorrect display of "Berserk" weapons class icons in the store.
  • Fixed the error due to which characters could bounce high while moving up and down the stairs.
  • Fixed the tip text position on the match loading screen.

KNOWN ISSUES

  • The grip icons in the attachment window can be different from their reworked versions.
  • When the game is resumed after the pause in PvP modes, the timer is displayed upon opening the score window.
  • The majority of weapons have incorrect rarity.
